The musical notes are the symbols and names that receive the sounds of the diatonic scale, which are 7: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La Si   Keys The function of the key is to associate the musical notes with the lines or spaces of the staff. The key of Sol , in this position, indicates that Sol is located on the second line of the staff The key of Fa , in this position indicates Fa is located in the fourth line The key of Do , in this position, indicates that Do is located in the third line.
