¿What is music?
Music is a set of sounds and silences, organized in a logical way, which is governed by a series of laws such as harmony, rhythm and melody, making use of the sensitivity that characterizes the human being with respect to emotion and perception. of artistic elements.



 
Elements of music

Melody: It is a succession of sounds (more severe or more acute) and silences, coherently united in a linear sequence and with a horizontal base. Melody is an inseparable discourse of rhythm. When there are two or more simultaneously, it is called a counterpoint.

 





Rhythm: The rhythm is the grouping of sounds in a piece of music according to the accents and duration, it is manifested with numerous variations and allows general constraste in the music.

 

 Harmony: The harmony generates triads or chords to regulate sounds that sound simultaneously, the composer uses this element to create different environments for a composition



Nuances: The nuances are related to the dynamics and the intention that is the musical piece, is responsible for enriching musical works and there are two types of dynamics that refers to the intensity and agogic that refers to the duration of the sound.



The musical writing

A musical writing has specialized and universal signs that express the different handles that are made of sound. These are:

MAIN SIGNS

    The staff
    The figures of duration or note
    The figures of silence
    The keys
    The alterations

SECONDARY SIGNS

    The tresillo and the seisillo
    The ligature (extension and phrasing)
    Dotted and double dotted
    The pilot
    Irregular divisions
